WEEK 13 - Prototype test and feedbacks
For my interactive prototype three,
I must say that was an unsuccessful prototype, and
I received many negative results from the feedback
This is an unexpected result for me.
Before the testing session, I think the new physical
the controller should be easily accepted with testers. However,
I was wrong, the result shows
That only half tester could
accept and agree with the new physical controller.
the main purpose of this game is to combine game, fitness, and music together to help the player not only can enjoy and create a new pulse in music but also can experience a music game for health purpose by interacting with a drum.
The result of the evaluation is not very good. I got 7 people as a tester.
For question 1 "How easy was to play the game with the physical controller?", 57.2% testers think it is easy to use, and 28.6% testers think it is difficult to use. I think some testers did not detail read the User Manual ("How to use"). Maybe I print out User Manual will be a better idea. For question 5 "Could you clearly understand the "How to use?", only 42.9% testers can clearly understand. I think the problem maybe is my handwriting, I will print it next time. For question 11 "Any suggestions for functions? Please comment", only 4 testers comment: "Shouldn't be able to move forward if dice value is zero", "I really didn’t understand how to move around on your controller. I was really confused with how everything worked and how the dice movement ladder thing worked.", "More implementation of the dice, I didn’t really understand their purpose" and, "I think if you make the maze a little bit more difficult to navigate. Maybe include more bridges and more of the push / pull ladder gameplay.". In my understanding, the comment "Shouldn't be able to move forward if dice value is zero", I have no idea of this comment, because the dice only will outcome one
random of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

The statistics lead us to the conclusion that, using the
tool to interact with the provides a health game method to the user because the user would able to exercise their arms, waist, and shoulders when they playing .
So, the result from user testing shows that in a certain extent, prototype III achieve the initial goal of providing a new interactive way to help user this application
